For her 2020 release Aida is offering vacuumed packed bags of green Finca Kilimanjaro from her families renowned farm. Finca Kilimanjaro and Aida Batlle are both names that reverberate quality. They made their appearance in Speciality Coffee in 2003, when in her first year as coffee producer, Aida became the first woman to ever secure the converted winning title of “Cup of Excellence”. Finca Kilimanjaro is home to some of the finest coffee varieties in the world. High quality Kenyan varieties SL - 28 and SL - 34, renowned for their pronounced fruit flavours, grow interspersed with the tall Bourbon trees that were first brought to the region by Aida’s great great grandfather.

----

Harvested in the 2023 season, this coffee was meticulously picked and processed with Aida overseeing the entire process. Only ripe coffee cherries were picked and sorted at the farm to make sure only perfectly ripe coffee cherries were in the lot. The coffee was then transported to J.Hill/ Las Tres Puertas Mill, located one hour and half from the farm in Santa Ana City, El Salvador. Here, the coffee was placed in a thin layer on African beds under shade to dry. Tasting notes of upfront strawberry conserve and fine chocolate. This coffee presents with a creamy mouthfeel, very sweet cup and a long aftertaste.
